Congratulations on the news - you are going to be a Mom!  Some of you are expecting again.  There is no greater joy than being a mother.  This is a very special time in your life that you will cherish and creating images is a great way to remember your time with baby before the arrival into the world.

 

We can visit about what your expectations are and what type of images you would like.

 

Some things to consider:

 

Wear clothing that shows off your baby bump.  Some like a more fitted /stretchy fabric that hugs the belly naturally while others prefer something with more of a softer, flowing look like a chiffon tunic or dress.  Maxi dresses and skirts work beautifully. 

 

Treat yourself to a manicure for picture day.  Your hands will be in alot of the images so a manicure helps tremendously.

 

What type of background would you like for the images?  Tall wild grasses, flowers, rustic buildings, outdoors, or indoors with a more controlled environment like wooden floor, white or printed backdrops

 

What color scheme would you like to have?    Colorful, natural soft shades of cream/grey/taupe, outdoor blue sky/green grass/trees 

 

Are these images for a gender reveal?  If so, you may want to incorporate lots of pink or blue, ruffles, tractors etc. that are gender specific. 

 

Will you be photographed alone, with a spouse/partner or children?  Will the photo session be in studio or outdoors?

Any special items such as a book/bible, family keepsakes etc. 

 

Signage that you would like to incorporate.  I have a few chalkboards that I use as well.
